How to choose your full body shapewear

Choosing your full body shapewear comes down to three criteria: the length (short, mid-leg or full-length), the top (thin straps, long sleeves or backless) and the level of control you want. Here's our reference for finding the shaper that sculpts the whole body without restricting it.

For a complete sculpting effect, the full-length body shaper smooths the bust, stomach, hips and legs in a single continuous piece — no lines, ideal under a long dress or a fitted jumpsuit. The long-sleeve version also covers the arms for an even silhouette under winter outfits.

For elaborate necklines and backs, the backless body shaper frees the back while still supporting the bust and stomach. The firm-compression version is made for occasions where the silhouette needs to be flawless for a few hours.

On fabric, all our shapers use a breathable, seamless fabric of 78% nylon / 22% elastane, with a snap-fastening gusset so you can use the bathroom without taking the whole piece off. Supportive enough to sculpt, soft enough for extended wear.
